Abbey is no stranger to the performing arts industry with her passion for singing, dancing, and acting enabling her to achieve success over the past decade and beyond.
Her extensive training includes the ‘Royal Academy of Dance’, ‘Glen Wood Tap’ and ‘ED5 International’ where she achieved her Adv Dip in Performing Arts (majoring in vocals).
Abbey can be recognised from many television outings, including most recently voicing the lead character of ‘Alice’ in Flying Bark’s 52-episode animation Series ‘FriendzSpace’ currently airing nationally on ABC and iView. Abbey’s other TV credits include the Logie award winning TV show ‘My Place’ starring as ‘Adelaide’ (ABC Network); performing as a featured dancer on the ‘Dance Boss Finale’ (Network 7); and appearing in the Peter Allen mini-series, ‘Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door’ (Shine Australia) as a tap dancer. Abbey has also appeared in commercials/reviews for the movies ‘Boxtrolls’, ‘Paddington’, and ‘Shaun the sheep’ (Universal Studios Australia). Abbey performs as Nickelodeon’s ‘Ready Set Dance’ Live Show Host as seen on Paramount+, performing alongside The Wiggles and many other Australian children’s performers.
Theatrically Abbey debuted in the musical ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ (TLM Productions) at the Sydney Capitol theatre in the role of ‘Marta’. She also starred as ‘Grouchy’ in ‘Snow White and the seven Dwarfs’ (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions) in the Sydney State theatre where she shared these credits with such artists as Magda Szubanski, Peter Everett, Sir Cliff Richard, Rachel Beck and David Hobson.
Abbey’s Corporate credentials include events for ‘Arnotts Australia’ and ‘St George Bank’ supporting Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian. She performed on the ‘Local Business Awards Tour’ (Precedent Productions) as a headline singer where she performed at over 32 events across NSW and the ACT. Additionally, she is touring domestically and internationally as one of ‘The Diamonds’ (SMA Productions) live performers in a 2 hour entertainment extravaganza.
