ASHLEY GOH

(she/her)

Ashley started training classically at the age of 5 (Singapore), and established herself in the commercial industry quickly. At 17, she started dancing for the local television and broadcasting network Mediacorp, and continued to dance at runway shows, corporate functions, and music concerts and festivals, for the next decade. She helped establish Recognize Studios (Singapore) in 2010 - the studio responsible for Radikal Forze & Summer Jam Dance Camp today- but made her move to Sydney in 2011 to pursue a Bachelor of Dance.

Upon her completion, she immersed herself into the street dance community where she finds herself deeply rooted to, and participates in local and international dance battles in styles of Hip Hop, Popping and House. She danced for a music video featuring Chauncey Black, and backed up Grammy Award Winning RnB group Blackstreet, for their 2015 Australian Tour.

In the last 4 years Ashley was featured in the musical drama film Carmen, directed by Benjamin Millepied, and was invited to battle as Redbull Dance Your Style Australia’s selected-16 for 3 consecutive years. She made her musical debut in A Chorus Line by Darlinghurst Theatre Company at Sydney Opera House, and toured nationally with LEAP directed by Amy Campbell and produced by Neil Gooding Productions.

She is currently a part of dance crews Oh Sheila and Booyakasha, and is the Director of Jam Republic Sydney, an agency for Sydney's street dancers.
