Catty Hamilton is one of Australia’s most versatile actors who has worked across the country and internationally.
Her current theatre credits include starring as Eve/Barbara/Ella in The Apple Tree (Neglected Musicals), donning the Pink Ladies jacket as Frenchy in the 2024/25 Australian Tour of Grease The Musical (Crossroads Live), workshopping the role of Dan in the 2024 Melbourne Development Season of One Day In September (Perryman Theatre Co), The Australian Tour of The Rocky Horror Show understudying the principle roles of Janet, Columbia & Magenta (Crossroads Live), The Australian Premiere of The Deb originating the role of Cathy (Rebel Wilson/ATYP), and starring as Jeannie Muldoon in Nice Work If You Can Get It (Hayes Theatre Co). Other theatre credits include Muriel’s Wedding as Cheryl Moochmoore (Global Creatures) MAMMA MIA! (Louise Withers), Xanadu understudying the principle role of Kira (Hayes Theatre Co), The Monster Rock Show as Bride of Frankenstein (Universal Studios), The Eighth Wonder (Opera Australia) and Spiegelesque! (Kermond Creative).
Catty completed her BMus at The Australian Institute of Music graduating with a Major in Theatre. She also received her Cert IV in Dance at Brent Street Studios Sydney and completed the International Student Visa Program at Broadway Dance Center, New York City."
