Julia Miletta

Originally from Sydney, Julia (she/her) moved to Melbourne in 2019 to commence her Bachelor degree at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in Music Theatre.

She was very grateful to perform in the Melbourne Choir of ‘Chess: The Musical’ (dir. Tyran Parke), and in the ensemble of ‘Sweet Charity’ (dir. Jayde Kirchert). In her final year at VCA, Julia was delighted to be featured solo artist in ‘Morning Melodies 2022’ at Hamer Hall (dir. Jayde Kirchert) as well perform in the collaborative performance project ‘Mongrel’ (dir. Maude Davey & Sarah Ward). Additionally, Julia was thrilled to play the role of Beth in ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ (dir. Jason Langley) and Josephine Strong in ‘Urinetown’ (dir. Trudy Dunn).

Julia was exceptionally honoured to be the recipient of the 2022 Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Industry Award.
