16 year-old Julia Savage is one of Australia’s most sought-after young actors. Her astonishing feature film debut at the age of 13 in the lead role in Del Kathryn Barton’s BLAZE opposite Simon Baker and Yael Stone has received unanimous critical acclaim and saw her nominated for an AACTA for Best Leading Actress in a feature film in 2022.  

In 2023 she appeared in Kacie Anning’s all-female comedy series Class of '07 for Matchbox Pictures (Universal International Studios) Amazon Studios/Amazon Prime Video and also starred alongside Guy Pearce, Kate Mulvany and Miranda Otto as one of the leads in the eight-part psychological thriller The Clearing directed by Jeffrey Walker (Young Rock) and Gracie Otto (Heartbreak High) for Wooden Horse TV/Disney+. 

Julia played the lead role of Milly in the award-winning short Sherbert Rosencrantz, You’re Beautiful, and in the award-winning historical fantasy film Sweet Tooth, narrated by Cate Blanchett. She appeared alongside Milly Alcock in the short horror film The Familiars and in the lead role of Ylva in All Silent Dogs for the Sydney Film Festival/Screen NSW Screeenability Program.

Julia appeared as Phoebe in the final series of Mr Inbetween, as Edie, the daughter of Rachel Griffiths character in Dead Lucky and as Beatrice in the award winning children’s series Hardball. At the age of 9 she appeared as herself in the ABC TV comedy documentary The Funny Ones directed by Genevieve Bailey.  Other credits include roles TV series Doctor Doctor, The Other Guy and Mary – Making of a Princess.
