Tess is an Australian actor and performing artist, working professionally for over 20 years in TV/Film and stage productions.
She graduated from the Adelaide College of Arts in 2012 after three years of full time study in dramatic arts.
Film credits include Raising the Bar, Pine Gap, Bad Blood, Sam Fox; Extreme Adventures, Changed Forever, and various TV commercials. Theatre credits include leading roles in Macbeth, Mad Forest, and Sweeney Todd.
Tess also performs as a professional musician/singer (Tessa Bird). Having recorded and released four original tracks with 301 Studios, she seamlessly blends her passion for music and storytelling, creating visual, cinematic experiences in her music videos. As part of the band Sitara, Tess has toured the UK, supported Macy Gray on her national Australian tour and played at WOMADelaide.
She is a clinical psychotherapist who uses her fascination for diving deep into the human experience and exploring emotions, stories, and the connections that shape us, for both her private practice and her artistic career.
