Zara Psirakis was born and raised in Sydney and is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts Music Theatre at The Victorian College of the Arts under the guidance of Tyran Parke.
Since the age of 2, Zara has trained in all styles of dance mentored by Jacqui Howard and Briden Starr, graduating from the Village Nation PT course in 2023.
During her senior studies, Zara performed lead roles in various productions, including Cindy in Catch Me If You Can, Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock, and Roxie Hart in Chicago.
In her final year of study, Zara graduated with a Diploma in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London, earned an Encore nomination for her HSC Music performances, an OnStage nomination for her HSC Individual Drama Performance and conducted her house choir in the Kambala Music Festival at The Sydney Opera House where she was awarded Best Conductor.
Some of Zara’s film and television credits include STAN’s Ten Pound Poms, Deadly Women, and Russell Crowe’s The Water Diviner. Further TVC credits include Kellogg’s Coco Pops, Finish AU, Kmart, Disney.
